Getting Started
What is Pixlpay?
Pixlpay is a complete commerce platform designed for game server owners, Discord communities, and content creators. We provide everything you need to sell digital products to your gaming community, including:

- Support for 11+ payment providers worldwide
- Subscription and one-time payment support

How do I create a store?
Creating a store takes just a few minutes:
- Sign up at pixlpay.net
- Choose a store name and subdomain
- Select your game platform (Discord, Minecraft, Hytale, etc.)
- Configure your payment provider
- Add your products

Is there a free plan?
Yes! Our Free plan includes:
- Up to 10 products
- Basic analytics
- Community support
- Pixlpay subdomain (yourstore.pixlpay.net)
It's a great way to get started and test the platform. You can upgrade anytime as your store grows. See our Pricing page for all plan details.
How long does store approval take?
Most stores are approved within 24-48 hours. During approval, we verify:
- Your store information is complete
- Your products comply with our terms of service
- Your payment provider is properly connected
You'll receive an email notification once approved. If we need additional information, we'll reach out via email.
Can I have multiple stores?
Yes, depending on your plan. Each store operates independently with its own products, customers, branding, and payment settings. This is useful if you run multiple game servers or communities.

What payment methods are supported?
We support 11 payment providers covering customers globally:

When do I receive my money?
Payments go directly to your connected payment provider account (Stripe, PayPal, etc.). Pixlpay never holds or touches your customer payments.
Payout timing depends on your provider:
- Stripe: Typically 2-7 business days (varies by country)
- PayPal: Instant access to PayPal balance
- Razorpay: T+2 business days in India
- Other providers: Check their specific payout schedules
What are the payment processing fees?
Pixlpay does not charge transaction fees. We never take a percentage of your sales.
You only pay the fees charged by your payment provider (e.g., Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). These fees go directly to the payment provider, not to us.
Pixlpay earns revenue from monthly subscription plans, not from your sales.
Can I use multiple payment gateways?
Yes! You can enable multiple payment providers simultaneously. This allows you to:
- Offer regional payment methods (e.g., Razorpay for India, Mollie for Europe)
- Give customers their preferred payment option
- Have redundancy if one provider has issues
Set one provider as "primary" and customers can choose from all enabled providers at checkout.
How do refunds work?
You can process refunds directly from your Pixlpay dashboard:
- Go to Orders
- Find the order to refund
- Click Refund
- Enter the refund amount (full or partial)
- Confirm the refund
The refund is processed through your payment provider and typically takes 5-10 business days to appear on the customer's statement.
Note on Cryptocurrency
Cryptocurrency payments via CoinPayments are irreversible. You'll need to manually send crypto to the customer's wallet to process a refund.
Products & Orders
What types of products can I sell?
Pixlpay supports three main product types:
Digital Products - Instant delivery items:
- Game ranks and permissions
- In-game items and currency
- Downloadable files (assets, resources)
- Access passes and keys
Subscriptions - Recurring payment products:
- Monthly VIP memberships
- Recurring access passes
- Server supporter tiers
Physical Products - Tangible items with shipping:
- Merchandise (via Print on Demand integration)
- Physical game merchandise
How does digital delivery work?
For game server delivery, we use a secure pull-based system:
- Customer completes purchase
- Pixlpay queues the delivery
- Your game server plugin polls our API every 30 seconds
- Plugin receives pending deliveries and executes commands
- Delivery is marked complete
This architecture means you never need to open ports or expose credentials. Your server pulls deliveries when it's ready.
For Discord roles, customers use the /claim command in your Discord server to receive their purchased roles.
Can I sell subscriptions?
Yes! Subscription support depends on your payment provider:

Subscriptions automatically handle renewals, cancellations, and for supported providers, pause/resume functionality.
How do I handle order issues?
For delivery issues:
- Check the order status in your dashboard
- View delivery logs for error messages
- Use the Retry Delivery button if delivery failed
- Use Manual Delivery to deliver directly via your server console
For payment disputes:
- You'll receive a notification when a dispute is filed
- Disputes are handled through your payment provider's dashboard
- Provide evidence (order confirmation, delivery logs) to contest chargebacks
Discord Integration
How do I connect Discord?
Pixlpay uses a Custom Discord Bot approach for Discord integration:
- Create a Discord application at Discord Developer Portal
- Add a Bot and copy the Bot Token
- Configure your credentials in Pixlpay dashboard (Application ID, Public Key, Bot Token)
- Set the Interactions Endpoint URL in your Discord application
- Invite the bot to your Discord server
No hosting required - Pixlpay handles everything through Discord's HTTP Interactions system.

How does role delivery work?
When a customer purchases a product with Discord role delivery:
- Customer authenticates with Discord at checkout
- Purchase completes successfully
- Role delivery is queued
- Customer uses
/claimin your Discord server - Role is assigned to the customer instantly
For subscription products, roles are automatically removed when the subscription expires or is cancelled.
Can I use my own Discord bot?
Yes! The Custom Discord Bot feature lets you use your own bot. You create the bot in Discord Developer Portal, then configure Pixlpay as the Interactions Endpoint. Benefits include:
- Your branding on the bot
- Full control over bot permissions
- No third-party bot in your server
- Liability stays with you (important for terms of service)
Billing (Platform)
How much does Pixlpay cost?
We offer four plans with a 14-day free trial on all paid plans:

Remember: We never take a percentage of your sales. You only pay your monthly subscription and payment provider fees.
Can I change plans?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time:
- Upgrades take effect immediately
- Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period
- Unused time from your current plan is prorated
Go to Settings > Billing to manage your subscription.
What happens if I cancel?
If you cancel your Pixlpay subscription:
- Your store remains active until the end of your billing period
- After that, your store moves to the Free plan
- Features beyond the Free plan limits become unavailable
- Your data, orders, and customer information are preserved
- You can reactivate anytime by subscribing again
We don't delete your data when you cancel.
What payment methods do you accept for subscriptions?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe for platform subscriptions. Your card is charged monthly or annually depending on your selected billing cycle.
Security
Is Pixlpay PCI compliant?
Yes. We maintain PCI DSS compliance through:
- No card storage: We never store card numbers. All payments are tokenized through payment providers.
- Secure connections: All traffic uses TLS 1.3 encryption.
- Third-party processing: Actual card processing happens on PCI-compliant payment provider infrastructure.
Your customers' payment information never touches our servers.
How do I enable two-factor authentication (2FA)?
To secure your store owner account with 2FA:
- Go to Settings > Account Settings
- Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
- Enter the verification code
- Save your backup codes in a secure location
We strongly recommend enabling 2FA for all store owner accounts.
How does fraud detection work?
Fraud detection (available on Pro plan) analyzes transactions in real-time using multiple signals:
- VPN/Proxy/Tor detection: Identifies masked IP addresses
- Velocity checks: Detects rapid purchase attempts
- Geographic mismatch: Flags billing address vs. IP location differences
- Disposable email detection: Identifies temporary email addresses
- Sanctioned country blocking: Automatic OFAC compliance
Each signal contributes to a risk score. Based on your settings, suspicious transactions can be blocked, flagged for review, or require additional verification.

Can I ban customers?
Yes. You can ban customers by:
- Email address
- IP address
- Discord ID (if using Discord integration)
Banned customers cannot complete purchases. Go to Security > Bans to manage your ban list.
Technical
Do you have an API?
Yes! The Pixlpay API lets you build custom integrations:
- Fetch products and orders programmatically
- Access analytics data
- Process deliveries from custom systems
- Manage webhooks
- Build custom storefronts

How do webhooks work?
Webhooks notify your systems when events occur in your store:
- Go to Settings > Webhooks
- Add your webhook URL
- Select events to receive (order.completed, subscription.created, etc.)
- We send POST requests with event data when events occur
All webhooks include a signature header for verification. See Webhook Documentation for implementation details.
Can I use a custom domain?
Yes! Custom domains are available on Starter plan and above.
To set up a custom domain:
- Go to Settings > Custom Domain
- Enter your domain (e.g., shop.yourgame.com)
- Add the provided CNAME record to your DNS
- Wait for DNS propagation (up to 48 hours)
- SSL certificate is automatically provisioned

What are the API rate limits?
The API has the following rate limits:
- 60 requests per minute per API token
- Rate limit headers are included in all responses
- Exceeding limits returns a 429 Too Many Requests error

Can I customize the storefront?
Yes! Pixlpay offers multiple customization options:
- Templates: Choose from pre-built templates with different layouts and styles
- Store Builder: Drag-and-drop editor to customize pages (Growth plan and above)
- Branding: Upload your logo, set colors, customize fonts
- CSS: Add custom CSS for advanced styling
Common Issues
My product isn't delivering
If deliveries are failing:
- Check server connection: Ensure your game server plugin is running and connected
- Verify commands: Check that delivery commands are correct
- Review logs: Look at delivery logs in the order details
- Retry delivery: Use the Retry button in the dashboard
- Manual delivery: Execute commands directly on your server if needed
Customer says they didn't receive their purchase
- Check order status: Verify the order is marked as completed
- Review delivery logs: Check for errors in the delivery process
- Verify player identity: Ensure the correct username/ID was provided
- Check the game server: Confirm the item exists on the server
- Retry delivery: If failed, use the retry function
Payment isn't going through
Common causes and solutions:
- Invalid credentials: Re-check your payment provider API keys
- Test mode enabled: Ensure you're using live (not sandbox) credentials
- Webhook issues: Verify webhook URL is correctly configured
- Currency mismatch: Check the customer's currency is supported
- Provider issues: Check your payment provider's status page
I can't connect my Discord server
- Verify bot permissions: The bot needs "Manage Roles" permission
- Check role hierarchy: Bot's role must be above roles it assigns
- Enable intents: Server Members Intent must be enabled in Developer Portal
- Verify credentials: Double-check Client ID, Secret, and Bot Token
