Team Members

Invite team members to help manage your store with role-based permissions.

Adding Team Members

  1. Go to Settings > Team Members
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter their email address
  4. Select a role
  5. Send invitation

Invitation Process

  1. Team member receives email invitation
  2. They click the invitation link
  3. Create account or log in
  4. Accept invitation
  5. Access granted based on role

Roles

Pixlpay offers two team member roles:

Full Access

Complete management capabilities:

  • View and manage all products
  • Process and manage orders
  • View and edit customers
  • Access all settings
  • View analytics and reports
  • Manage integrations

INFO

Full Access members have the same capabilities as the store owner, except they cannot delete the store or access billing settings.

Read Only

View-only access for monitoring:

  • View dashboard and analytics
  • View products (cannot edit)
  • View orders (cannot process)
  • View customers (cannot edit)
  • Cannot access settings
  • Cannot make any changes

Ideal for:

  • Accountants who need to view reports
  • Partners monitoring performance
  • Support staff reviewing orders

Managing Team Members

View Team

See all team members:

  • Name and email
  • Role
  • Last active
  • Invitation status

Change Role

Update a member's role:

  1. Click on the team member
  2. Select new role (Full Access or Read Only)
  3. Save changes

WARNING

Changing someone from Full Access to Read Only removes their editing capabilities immediately.

Remove Member

Remove a team member:

  1. Click on the team member
  2. Click Remove from Team
  3. Confirm removal

They lose access immediately but their actions remain in activity logs.

Pending Invitations

Manage outstanding invitations:

ExpiredInvitation expired (7 days)

Resend Invitation

If someone didn't receive the invitation:

  1. Find the pending invitation
  2. Click Resend
  3. New email is sent

Cancel Invitation

To revoke an invitation:

  1. Find the pending invitation
  2. Click Cancel
  3. Link is invalidated

Activity Tracking

All team member actions are logged:

  • Who made the change
  • What was changed
  • When it happened
  • Before/after values

View in Settings > Activity Logs.

Security Best Practices

Role Assignment

  • Give minimum necessary permissions
  • Use Read Only for monitoring-only needs
  • Review roles regularly
  • Remove access when no longer needed

Two-Factor Authentication

Regular Audits

  • Review team member list monthly
  • Check activity logs for anomalies
  • Verify access levels are appropriate

Multiple Stores

Team members can be invited to multiple stores:

  • Different roles per store
  • Same login credentials
  • Easy store switching

Store Owner

The store owner (creator) has additional capabilities:

  • Access to billing and subscription settings
  • Ability to delete the store
  • Cannot be removed from the team
