Custom Domain
Use your own domain for your Pixlpay store.
Overview
By default, your store is available at yourstore.pixlpay.net. With a custom domain, customers can access your store at shop.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com.
Requirements
- A registered domain name
- Access to your domain's DNS settings
- Starter plan or higher
Setup Instructions
Step 1: Add Your Domain
- Go to Settings > Domain
- Enter your domain (e.g.,
shop.example.com) - Click Add Domain
Step 2: Configure DNS
Add an A record at your domain registrar pointing to our server:

For the exact IP address, check your Settings > Domain page after adding your domain.
Using Root Domain?
For a root domain (e.g., example.com instead of shop.example.com), use the same A record with @ as the name.
Step 3: Verify and Activate
- Return to Settings > Domain
- Click Verify DNS
- Once verified, your domain is active
DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate.
SSL Certificate
SSL certificates are automatically provisioned for custom domains. Your store will be accessible via HTTPS within minutes of verification.
Troubleshooting
DNS Not Propagating
- Double-check your DNS settings
- Wait 24-48 hours for propagation
- Use whatsmydns.net to check status
Certificate Issues
- Ensure DNS is correctly configured
- Contact support if issues persist
Removing a Custom Domain
- Go to Settings > Domain
- Click Remove next to your domain
- Your store returns to
yourstore.pixlpay.net
