Store Approval

All new Pixlpay stores must be approved before they can accept payments. This guide explains the approval process and how to prepare your store for review.

Why Approval is Required

We review every store to ensure:

  • Quality - Stores meet our quality standards
  • Compliance - Stores follow our terms of service
  • Security - Payment integrations are properly configured
  • Legitimacy - Stores represent real communities and games

This protects both you and your customers.

Before You Apply

Ensure your store is ready for review:

Required Setup

  • [ ] At least one product - Create at least one product with pricing
  • [ ] Stripe connected - Connect your Stripe account for payments
  • [ ] Game type selected - Choose the game/platform your store serves
  • [ ] Custom domain - Professional domain (e.g., store.yourserver.com)
  • [ ] Multiple products - Range of offerings for your community
  • [ ] Clear product descriptions - What customers get and delivery information
  • [ ] Discord or game server linked - Shows legitimacy of your community

How to Submit for Approval

  1. Log in to your Pixlpay Dashboard
  2. Go to Settings > Store Settings
  3. Click Submit for Approval
  4. Complete the approval checklist
  5. Submit your store for review

What We Review

Store Information

  • Store name is appropriate and not misleading
  • Description accurately describes your community
  • Contact information is valid

Products

  • Products are clearly described
  • Pricing is reasonable and in appropriate currency
  • Delivery commands are properly configured (if applicable)

Payment Setup

  • Payment gateway is properly connected
  • Currency is set correctly
  • No suspicious pricing patterns

Branding

  • Logo is appropriate and not infringing
  • Storefront design is functional
  • No offensive content

You can check your approval status in the dashboard:

If Changes Are Requested

If a reviewer requests changes:

  1. Read the feedback carefully in your dashboard
  2. Make the requested changes to your store
  3. Click Resubmit for Approval

Common reasons for changes requested:

  • Missing or unclear product descriptions
  • Payment gateway not properly configured
  • Store information incomplete
  • Branding issues

If Your Store is Rejected

If your store is rejected:

  1. Review the rejection reason in your dashboard
  2. Address the issues identified
  3. Contact support if you need clarification
  4. You may create a new store and apply again

Common rejection reasons:

  • Selling prohibited items or services
  • Impersonating another business
  • Fraudulent or misleading practices
  • Terms of service violations

After Approval

Once approved:

  1. Your store goes live - Customers can start making purchases
  2. Payment processing is enabled - You can receive payments
  3. Analytics start tracking - View your store performance
  4. You can customize further - Continue improving your store

Post-Approval Checklist

Maintaining Approval

Keep your store in good standing:

  • Respond to customer issues - Handle refund requests promptly
  • Keep products updated - Remove discontinued items
  • Maintain payment configuration - Keep your Stripe account active
  • Follow our terms - Don't violate our terms of service

Stores that violate our terms may have their approval revoked.

Need faster approval? Ensure your store has:

  • Complete and professional information
  • All required fields filled out
  • Payment gateway fully configured
  • Clear, well-described products
  • No red flags or incomplete sections

Stores with complete information are reviewed faster.

How long does approval take?

Most stores are approved within 1-2 business days.

Can I sell while waiting for approval?

No, you cannot accept payments until your store is approved.

What if I make changes after approval?

Minor changes (products, branding) don't require re-approval. Major changes to your business type or payment configuration may trigger a review.

Can I have multiple stores?

Yes, each store requires separate approval. Your account standing affects approval of additional stores.

My store was approved but payments aren't working?

Check that your payment gateway (Stripe, etc.) is properly connected and your account is verified with them.
